Looking for Bentonville group activities for adults? The short list: archery at The Quiver, indoor go-kart racing in Rogers, an easy paddle on Little Sugar Creek, an art-and-trails day at Crystal Bridges and the Momentary, and a waterfall hike in the Buffalo National River country. Below you’ll find what each one is like, what to know before you book, and how to string them into a weekend your whole group will still be talking about.

We run The Bike Inn, a veteran-owned boutique cycling hotel near downtown and the trails, about 10 minutes away. Groups of friends, families and coworkers stay with us all year, and these are the outings we see crews come back buzzing about. Several of them are favorites from our Adult Summer Camp weekends.

1. Archery showdown at The Quiver

Nothing gets friendly trash talk going faster than a bow in everyone’s hands. The Quiver Archery Range sits next to Osage Park at 1701 SW F St. in Bentonville and is run by the Peel Compton Foundation. Visit Bentonville calls it the only fully staffed archery range in Arkansas, with 20 outdoor lanes and certified USA Archery instructors.

  • Who it works for: first-timers and experienced archers alike. Equipment and instruction are included, and the minimum age is 8.
  • Cost: $20 per person per hourly pass for the public, per the range’s Visit page.
  • Winter hours (check before you go): Wednesday to Friday 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
  • Groups over 10: book through the range’s Rent & Reserve page rather than walking in.

Want something louder? The Quiver also runs Archery Tag, a dodgeball-style game with foam-tipped arrows and face masks. A private booking gives your group the field for two hours, with up to 10 players on at a time and everyone else rotating in. Players need to be 10 or older. 2. Go-kart grand prix at K1 Speed Rogers

For pure head-to-head bragging rights, K1 Speed in Rogers has a 14-turn indoor track with Italian-made electric karts, so there are no exhaust fumes and it runs rain or shine. It’s at 2107 W. Walnut St. in Rogers, a short drive from Bentonville.

  • Height rule: adult karts require drivers to be at least 58 inches tall.
  • Group events: need at least 8 racers and must be booked in advance. Packages include qualifying and final races.
  • Hours: noon to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, noon to midnight Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Tip from our past campers: run the qualifying race first, then let the slowest driver pick dinner. Source: K1 Speed Rogers and its group events page.

3. Paddle Little Sugar Creek

Little Sugar Creek is turning into one of the best easy paddles in the area. The City of Bentonville approved full removal of the Lake Bella Vista dam in 2025 to restore the creek to a free-flowing stream, and stream bank and bridge work is underway, so expect some construction around the old lake park. Source: City of Bentonville.

A local paddling guide, SUP Little Sugar, maps a beginner float of about 3.3 miles (roughly 1.5 hours) from a put-in near Allen’s Food Market in Bella Vista, with a longer 7-mile option. It recommends stand-up paddleboards or sit-on-top kayaks over tubes because the creek runs shallow in spots, and it says to check the flow gauge before you go. No boards? Bella Vista Adventure Co. lists kayak and SUP rentals by the hour. This one is a warm-weather plan, so save it for late spring through early fall.

4. Art and trails at Crystal Bridges and the Momentary

Every group has someone who’d rather look at art than race karts, and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is the outing everyone agrees on. General admission is free, and only temporary exhibitions are ticketed. The museum opened a 114,000-square-foot expansion in June 2026, so even repeat visitors have new galleries to see.

  • Hours: Monday and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Tuesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • Trails: the grounds and trails are open sunrise to sunset, with outdoor sculpture along the way. The Crystal Bridges Trail links the museum to downtown Bentonville.
  • The Momentary: the museum’s contemporary art, music and food space in downtown Bentonville at 507 SE E Street.

5. Chase a waterfall near the Buffalo National River

For a full-day adventure, the National Park Service calls the Lost Valley Trail the most popular hike at Buffalo National River, which was America’s first national river. It’s an easy to moderate hike up a box canyon to Eden Falls, which drops 53 feet. The NPS says the trail takes an average of 2 hours to complete. The trailhead is about 1.5 miles south of Ponca off Highway 43. It’s day-use only, with restrooms at the trailhead.

Plan for a long day in the car and wear real shoes. The NPS warns that Lost Valley is one of the park’s most frequent search-and-rescue spots because of slick rock and cliff edges. Source: NPS, Hike the Lost Valley Trail.

6. Ride, or don’t

Bentonville is a mountain bike town, and plenty of crews want at least one trail day. If half your group rides and half doesn’t, split the morning: riders head out, everyone else hits the museum, and you meet back up for lunch. Our bike rentals page covers gear if you’re not bringing your own. If the weather turns, our rainy day activities guide has backup plans.
