Raised in Oklahoma & Missouri, Jeremy nurtured an adventurous spirit from a young age, exploring the local wilderness and engaging in sports like football, baseball, wrestling, and BMX bikes in the woods, which instilled in him a blend of teamwork, resilience, and competitive spirit. Known for his leadership in organizing camping and hiking trips, Jeremy's zest for challenges and his deep-rooted sense of duty naturally led him to enlist in the Marine Corps after high school. This decision to serve was fueled by his desire to protect the values he cherished and to embrace the rigorous demands and camaraderie of military life, marking the continuation of his journey of purposeful adventure and service.
After his service in the Marine Corps, Jeremy transitioned into a career as a defense contractor, focusing on roles that would continue his commitment to supporting military efforts. As a communications specialist and drone pilot, Jeremy was deployed to combat zones across the globe for a total of 70 months. His expertise and dedication played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and success of U.S. warfighters, helping to guarantee their safe return home from various theaters of operation.
Jeremy accepted a position with the Department of Energy and relocated to Bend, Oregon, drawn by the allure of living in a place where others vacation. During his four years in Bend, Jeremy fully immersed himself in the vibrant outdoor culture, appreciating the community’s adventurous spirit and the mindset it fostered. His time there deeply resonated with his own values and lifestyle, enhancing his love for outdoor activities and the like-minded people he met. Eventually, Jeremy’s career led him to another scenic location, Hood River, Oregon, where he continued to pursue his professional and personal passions.
Jeremy first fell in love with the picturesque town of Hood River, located in the stunning Columbia River Gorge, during a three-month work assignment in the spring of 2010. Captivated by the community's robust outdoor lifestyle and the shared passion of its residents, he was drawn to the town's vibrant energy and the collective spirit of adventure. "I showed up to this beautiful town full of fit, healthy people driven by the wanderlust of the outdoors. You'd pull up a stool at the bar, and everyone around you was talking about the adventures from the day and what adventures are being planned for tomorrow. It was a feeling I had never felt before, a town with a shared outlook, the Outdoors," Jeremy recalled. Embracing the local lifestyle, he spent two fulfilling years exploring all that Hood River had to offer, from mopeding to wineries and chasing waterfalls to biking every trail. But then, in 2020, everything changed...
As COVID-19 unfolded and Oregon implemented stringent measures, Jeremy decided it was time for a change. He fondly remembered an incredible trip to Northwest Arkansas in 2019, where he first experienced the vibrant community of Bentonville. Inspired by that visit and seeking a fresh start, Jeremy packed up and moved to Bentonville, drawn once again to a community known for its dynamic spirit and welcoming atmosphere.
I stumbled upon The Pines Motel during an afternoon drive. I immediately pulled in and called the Listing Agent. Within a couple of days, I was walking the property and starting to build my vision. A heartfelt thanks to the Roth Family for their invaluable support in helping begin to make my dream a reality.
The Pines Motel has new a owner and renovations begins!
The Bike Inn, Bentonville officially opens! I am now a full-time hotelier and bring my passion and excitement for both hosting and the outdoors to help travelers and locals alike make memories and friends during their vacations and staycations. I thank you for trusting me to be your basecamp while you're exploring all that NW Arkansas has to offer.
I placed four charming glamping cabins in the backyard, crafted by Glamping Pods of America in Noel, Missouri. These cozy retreats are nestled in a setting that feels incredibly remote and secluded, as if you are miles out in the woods, away from everything except your riding buddies. The ambiance perfectly captures the essence of a woodland escape, offering a tranquil haven where you can unwind and connect with nature, yet conveniently close enough to share adventures with friends.
